    [00:36] Hannah Morgan:
Samantha, I’m so excited to have you on today’s show. Let’s start with you sharing a little bit about who you are and what you do.

    [00:44] Samantha Gaunt:
Thanks for having me, Hannah. I’m so excited to be here. I’m a cycle syncing coach, a wife, and a mom of five kids ages 4 to 14. I help women align their businesses and their lives with their natural rhythms for better productivity, less stress, and more balance. Through my work, I guide women in managing tasks and schedules around their menstrual cycles so they can thrive without burning out.

    [01:12] Hannah Morgan:
Amazing. I love the work you do. It’s so important, and I know it has a huge impact on so many people. So let’s dig in. I want to learn all about cycle syncing for productivity and balance at home.

    [01:26] Samantha Gaunt:
Cycle syncing can help not only in your business, but also in your home life. Traditional routines expect every day to look the same, but women aren’t built like that. Our energy, mood, focus, and stamina shift throughout the month due to our hormones. When we force ourselves into a one-size-fits-all routine, we often end up frustrated, exhausted, or guilty for not keeping up. That’s why so many women feel overwhelmed.

    [02:05] Hannah Morgan:
I love that perspective. How did you discover cycle syncing?

    [02:10] Samantha Gaunt:
Before coaching, I was a VA working with women entrepreneurs. I noticed patterns—clients would start projects with lots of energy and excitement, then suddenly hit a wall. I realized the same thing was happening to me. I dug into research, began tracking my own cycle and energy levels, and saw clear trends. For example, I’m most creative while ovulating, but right before my period I prefer bookkeeping or detail-oriented work. Once I honored these rhythms, everything felt easier.

    [03:01] Hannah Morgan:
So how can someone manage their cycle at home and at work—especially when not everything can be scheduled around energy levels?

    [03:09] Samantha Gaunt:
The key is leaning into your strengths during each phase:

    • Menstrual phase (days 1–5): Energy is lowest. Prioritize rest, reflect, and lower expectations. Delegate whenever possible—asking for help is powerful.

    • Follicular phase: Estrogen rises, energy and creativity return. This is the best time to plan, organize, try new recipes, or tackle projects like reorganizing a closet.

    • Ovulatory phase: Energy and confidence peak. You’ll feel social, so it’s a great time for family outings, date nights, and meaningful conversations.

    • Luteal phase: Energy dips again. Simplify meals and routines, wrap up projects, and give yourself buffer time before and after events to rest and reset.

When you know your phase, you can anticipate challenges and plan support around them instead of pushing through.

    [05:15] Hannah Morgan:
That’s so validating. I often plan things when I feel excited, then don’t have the energy later to follow through.

    [05:22] Samantha Gaunt:
Exactly! For example, I recently signed up for a 5K. Before registering, I checked my cycle calendar. I’ll be ovulating that week, so I know I’ll feel strong and energetic. Had it been during my luteal phase, I would have skipped it. Once you know your patterns, you can plan smarter and avoid burnout.

    [06:10] Hannah Morgan:
That’s genius. And it makes so much sense—knowing your cycle means you can plan realistically instead of swimming upstream against your energy.

    [06:20] Samantha Gaunt:
Yes, and it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. I wear a simple cycle-tracking watch that tells me what day I’m on. That way, I can glance down and know whether it’s a good time to schedule a social event or whether I should plan for downtime. The more you practice, the easier and more natural it becomes.

    [07:05] Hannah Morgan:
I love that. Thank you, Samantha. These tips are so practical, and I think they’ll help so many women. Where can listeners learn more?
